The sitting room next to Reception was a cozy spot to relax. the bunk beds in the dorms had comfortable mattresses and their own sink, which was convenient. the staff were helpful and provided a thorough induction. the hostel had a nice vibe and the breakfasts were superb.

The WiFi was unreliable, often dropping off and difficult to connect to. My room was located next to the bathrooms, which meant I could hear the toilet flushing late at night.

We had an amazing stay at Black Sheep! From the moment we walked in, we felt right at home. the rooms were cozy and private, thanks to the curtains around the beds. the staff was incredibly friendly and always willing to help if we needed anything. We particularly loved the delicious breakfast and the kitchen setup. the effort they put into conservation and waste reduction was commendable, with a beautiful garden and chicken coop out back. the quirky bathroom walls with fun quotes added a unique touch. the location was perfect, with everything within walking distance. Cons: Nothing not to love! ❤️.

My bed was cozy, clean, and felt like home. the hostel had a sign at the reception that reminded guests to be responsible for the energy they bring, which added to the positive vibes. The hostel was warm and friendly, with 5 communal areas to relax in. the dorms were excellent, with plenty of privacy thanks to the bunkbed curtains. Each bed had its own light, socket, and tiny shelf, which was convenient. the breakfast was a step up from basic and included homemade soda bread, a nice touch. the free parking nearby was a great perk.

The double room we stayed in had an uncomfortable mattress with worn-out springs.

I had the best sleep at Black Sheep! The beds were so comfortable with curtains, two pillows, and silent bunk beds. And the location is perfect, right in the city center and a short walk to the National Park. The garden and dogs added a lovely touch. I highly recommend this place for a stay in Killarney.

I particularly loved the cozy fire in the living room, which was perfect after a rainy hike.

The hostel is conveniently located near a national park and the center of town, making it easily accessible for exploring and enjoying the local attractions. the beds in the dorm rooms are spacious and private, with curtains for added privacy. the staff is friendly and helpful, making you feel welcome throughout your stay. the hostel also offers free breakfast and has facilities for composting and recycling.

There have been reported cases of bed bugs in some rooms, which needs to be addressed to ensure a comfortable stay.
